# Darshan Hiranandani : How to Set Overlay Images to Multiply Blend Mode and 50% Opacity?

Hi Everyone, I’m **Darshan Hiranandani** , trying to work with blend modes in image editing, specifically using the ‘Add’ and ‘Multiply’ blend modes on overlay images. I would like to apply the Multiply blend mode and set the opacity (alpha) of the overlay image to 50%.  
How can I achieve this effect in my image editor? Also, does anyone know how to use a LUT image with linear color encoding in this context?
